August 7, 2015 | Leave a comment Meet Erin and Aundrea. Erin and Aundrea run their Etsy business at Meadowbelle Market where they sell handmade jewelry and accessories. Erin and Aundrea are twin sisters, each with unique skills that help their business. Aundrea does most of the accessories, which are generally geared towards weddings and special events. Erin works with sterling silver, gold fill and solid gold materials to make delicate, dainty jewelry. I asked Erin a few questions about her store: When did you start selling on Etsy? My sister and I opened our Etsy shop in 2008. Why do you sell what you do? I loved making absolutely anything as a kid. I still do! I think making jewelry sort of chose me. I experimented with so many different mediums and art/craft forms along the way. Metalsmithing and jewelry is just what stuck. We experimented in many ways and even sold vintage items for a period of time. What are your goals for your business? I’m extremely happy with where I’m at with my business. I do enjoy watching it grow, and hope that it continues because the process is a fun experience. I enjoy the challenges and changes that growth brings. Currently, I’m focusing on honing our branding and developing our own website. Anything else you would like to share? I’m so happy I took the road that seemed right to me and that I enjoyed in terms of creating my own business. I want to say “in terms of taking the leap to create my own business” but that just doesn’t seem quite right. It’s really been a long process (versus jumping right in) with lots of ups and downs along the way. Looking back, I’ve enjoyed everything it’s taught me, including patience and the willingness to persevere! Find Erin and Aundrea on Etsy at Meadowbelle Market
